Out to Sea
We headed out to sea yesterday for a little day cruise on the SS Lane Victory. It was a beautifully foggy day which seemed to add to the historic character of the old cargo ship's history.
but the best part was spending time together!
See what I mean?
No worries, I love this guy ♥ Instead, I just keep my cool and kept on sailing!
oh wait, maybe we all got a little crazy at sea, but you weren't suppose to know that (lol)

la Famiglia
It was a family weekend!
We went and ate at one of our family favorites, Angelo's and Vinci's after a long Saturday of running around.
John my brother and David my husband are simply the best.
There is so much to look at while you eat. If you have not been there than it's a must do if you're in old town Fullerton.
Earlier in the day we also celebrated Kylee's 3rd Birthday. She is David's 2nd cousin's daughter. She is a cutie and loves David so much that she had him by the hand the minute he got there.
By the way, Fall starts tomorrow!! I'm very ready for some cooler weather, how about you?

Artistic Habits
This is the look of focus with perhaps a little inspiration. David my love, watch out because the house is going to transform once again into my studio space. I'm sure you will be very sad as I know you just worked so hard on it, but don't worry I'm committed this time to...
...keeping the pencils, charcoal stick, sharpeners, erasers, X-Acto knifes, pallets, canvases, conté sticks, brushes, toxic oil paints (including the ones with lead), non-toxic paint, ink, notebooks, pencil boxes, art bags and paper in a designated area and I will also keep the windows open for proper ventilation so we can continue to have intelligent conversations.

9/11
Permanently etched in my mind is that morning of sadness when the NY cityscape changed forever and so many innocent lives were lost.
Permanently etched in my mind is the fact that it was intentional.
Permanently etched in my mind is the affect it will always have on us.
Permanently etched in my mind is the pain that continues for the families and friends who lost loved ones.
Permanently etched in my mind is how brave we are as Americans
Above I have placed the same image I posted last September 11th with a link to that post as this image still continues to say so much.
