Today was my grandpa Hawley's funeral. It is sad to see him go sooner than expected, but I'm glad his suffering is over. Right now I celebrate the fact that he can find peace and be with my Grandma whom he missed.

Hey Julia sorry to hear about your Grandpa. When Johnathan was out we stopped by for a quick visit with him. He was a funny old guy! Pretty sharp for his age! As you said though he is with his wife and in a better place. I am so grateful that we have that knowledge and for the peace it brings.
I am sorry for the loss. I know that it's life, but it still hurts and still doesn't seem fair. The comfort in seeing him again though is a nice thought to hold on to. xo
